Quality Japanese optics perfectly exemplified by this Neitz BXa ophthalmoscope. Battery handle accepts either C-batteries(not included) or AA batteries (new, included) via the adapter. Lens range -36 to +35D in 1D increments. Using the aperture control, you can select slit, graticule, medium and smaller stop but the RF filter appears to have fallen out of its housing so is not available. Rear dust cover slides across for when not in use. Polarising filter (via wheel at top of head) attenuates corneal reflex to give a more natural retinal image. Takes the L-30 bulb, you will find one already in the head of your ophthalmoscope.
