This is the seventh edition of the venerable book that appeared first in 1933. The present edition has been revised by Roger Warwick, professor of anatomy at the University of London. Prof Warwick added a good number of new illustrations, especially electron micrographs, that were supplied to him from the Institute of Ophthalmology. The text also has been revised and modernized.
This book is obviously the standard work on ocular anatomy in the British Isles.
