The Briot Alta NX brings a new level of precision and ease of use to the job of finishing today's popular premium eyewear. The user-friendly system can process all types of traditional and rimless eyewear with minimal effort and time. With the Alta NX, you can create custom shaped rimless eyewear, and finish high base curves and difficult lens bevels with a greater degree of flexibility and precision than ever before.

Briot's top-of-the-line Alta NX incorporates the most advanced engineering and design features available in a multifunctional edger. This gives the operator greater control over each of the finishing steps to ensure accurate results.

The system includes the Alta tracer-blocker and the Alta edger, which are linked with Briot software to perform all functions seamlessly. The Alta completes all steps in the finishing process automatically, including 5-D frame tracing, automatic centering and blocking, beveling all premium lens materials, grooving and drilling rimless, automatic safety beveling and high luster polishing. Alta's exclusive customizable screen settings and 3-D icons simplify processing. With Alta NX, you'll create high quality eyewear that impresses patients and keeps them returning to your practice.

Customizable Screen Settings
Have it your way, with the new Briot Alta NX. The system allows you to personalize the screen settings, deactivating functions you don't use and deleting icons you don't require. You can choose the default settings for beveling, grooving and safety beveling based on your preferences and the jobs you do most often. This simplifies the interface to make processing easier and faster, and helps avoid errors.
Angled processing for high base
The Alta NX's advanced technology enables the system to tilt automatically up to 30 degrees while drilling, grooving and safety beveling high base curve lenses, for optimum precision.
Automatic premium lens settings
The Alta NX provides special settings for polycarbonate, Trivex�, slippery AR coated and fragile lenses. These settings automatically control wheel speed and processing variables to ensure optimum results with today's premium lens materials.
Advanced bevel, groove and safety bevel controls
In addition to automatic settings, Alta NX allows you to control the curve of the "v" bevel or groove, and its placement on the lens, by millimeters or percentages from the front and rear of the lens. It offers a range of depth and width options for grooving, and the safety bevel can also be adjusted easily as well. These control options help achieve greater precision in fitting the lens to the frame, especially with high base curves and difficult bevels. Plus, the operator can choose the desired default settings for each function.
